Release Day Launch!!! ALL THE PRETTY POSES by M.Leighton

Title: All The Pretty Poses (Poses #2)
Author: M. Leighton
Genre: New Adult
Published: January 26, 2014
**Contains mature content, recommended for ages 17+

ABOUT ALL THE PRETTY POSES:
He never wanted to be a hero…until she needed him to be.

Strength…
It took Kennedy Moore years to put her life back together after Reese Spencer shattered it.  But she did.  Now, years later, strong and independent, she is in pursuit of a single dream—to dance with the Altman American Dance Theater.  Unfortunately, Kennedy is learning that a girl from nowhere with no money and no contacts might never be able to reach her goal.

That is, until Reese reappears, offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that Kennedy just can’t refuse.  In exchange for working on his yacht for a few short weeks, he’ll get her an audition with the famous dance troupe.  All Kennedy has to do is keep her head down, work hard and resist Reese.  That sounds easy enough, right?

Weakness…
Reese doesn’t want to make it easy for Kennedy.  Seeing her again has started a fire in his blood—an unwelcome one.  It took him years to forget about her before, so this time he has a plan.  It’s simple:  Get Kennedy on his yacht, seduce her, get her out of his system, move on with his life.  That sounds easy enough, right?

But the one thing Reese didn’t plan for was Kennedy herself—a girl so strong yet so broken, she makes him want to rescue her, to take care of her.  To save her.  Even if he has to save her from himself.

UNSURPRISE Cover Reveal and Excerpt: The Bad Boys Series by M. Leighton

You May have noticed that the publisher has already released the covers to this series but we wanted to post them anyway along with a special excerpt of book 3 Everything For Us!

One girl. Twin brothersAn uncommon triangle. When college student Olivia Townsend returned home to help her father run his business, she never imagined a complication like Cash and Nash Davenport—twin brothers different in so many ways but with one thing in common: an uncontrollable desire for Olivia. Cash is dangerous, sexy, and bad to the bone—a man whose kisses make Olivia forget she is playing with fire. Nash is successful, reliable and intensely passionate—and already taken. But all it takes is one soft stroke to make Olivia forget he belongs to someone else. However, Olivia is in for a surprise. These boys have a secret that should make her run away as far and as fast as she can. If only it wasn’t too late. A sensual game between three players has begun, and it’s about to spin deliriously out of control.

M. Leighton’s Down to You was just the beginning. “Up to Me has even more shockers in store!” (Examiner.com) For Olivia, romantic bliss has never felt so right as it does with Cash. Unpredictable, except when it comes to satisfying her desires, Cash’s ‘bad boy’ reputation is well-earned, but he’s turning his life around with the one woman who accepts him for who he is. Until strangers from the past turn Olivia and Cash’s world upside down. What they want is something only Cash can give them. And if he doesn’t deliver, then they’re taking the one thing that Cash values the most. Olivia always knew that in falling for Cash she was likely to get burned. But this new threat is beyond anything she imagined. Now she has to trust Cash with her life—and for Olivia that’s much easier than letting go, and trusting him with her heart.

When it comes to passion this hot, it’s all or nothing.
Olivia Townsend’s wealthy cousin Marissa had everything a girl could ask for—a great job, a privileged life, and all the friends she wanted. Or, at least, all the friends money could buy. But one case of mistaken identity has turned her privileged world upside down. An abduction gone wrong lands her right in the lap of the sexiest, most dangerous man she’s ever met. To Marissa, he’s an enigma, but one to whom she’s irresistibly, inexplicably drawn. With him comes a new world of freedom and passion, of dark shadows and dangerous secrets, a world where nothing is what it seems—except for the blind passion that Marissa can’t escape—or maybe even survive.

**AND NOW ENJOY A SPECIAL EXCERPT FROM EVERYTHING FOR US**

“They’re just parts, like any other woman’s,” she replies breathlessly, trying to be casual.

“I’d be willing to bet your parts are exceptional.  In fact, now might be a good time to warn you that if we come back to this library, I’ll find out for myself.  In this very spot.  I’ll push you up against the books in the corner and I’ll put my hands on you.  I’ll do things to you.  In the quiet.  And you won’t be able to make a sound.  Not a whimper, not a moan.  You’ll have to bite your lip to keep it all inside.  And you know what?” I ask, reaching up to trace my index finger along her full, trembling lower lip.

“What?” she whispers, her pupils two dilated dots of excitement.

“You’ll love every second of it.”

With a wicked grin, I take the books from her arms and turn to walk back the way I came.

AUTHOR AUCTION TO BENEFIT THE CORN FAMILY

On the night of February 10th, 2013, Matthew Corn passed away in a tragic accident. It’s impossible to sum up the life and vibrant personality of one person in a few short sentences. To say Matt will be missed is an understatement of gross proportions. He was a loving husband and devoted father, quick to give his family everything they needed and more. Matt moved from Pittsburgh to Savannah with his wife, Daniele, to work at Gulfstream. Here they had three children: Ben, 5, Andrew, 2, and Lily, 1. He was a hard worker; always giving one hundred and ten percent to his job, but never missed the chance to joke. He was known for being obsessively organized and neat. If you wanted to see him panic, all you had to do was move his tools out of order or get his jeep dirty. Matt was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and Pittsburgh Penguins fan, more than willing to go nose to nose for his favorite teams. He loved the outdoors and off-road ramp competitions. He spent time fishing and hunting with his children, eager to instill his love of nature. His friends knew him as a person that would drop everything if you needed help.
Now, it’s our turn to help. With the generous donations of these wonderful authors, we hope to raise money for the Corn Family to help with medical and living expenses. His loss has left a hole in the hearts of his family and friends that will never be filled, but it is our sincere wish that this auction will ease some of the burdens they face.

Here at Globug and Hootie our thoughts and prayers go out to this family. If you don't want to get in on the Auction please help any way you can by donating via PayPal by clicking the button below. If you can't do either then please feel free to leave your thoughts and prayers in the comment section below.

Review and GIVEAWAY: Up To Me by M. Leighton

Book Synopsis:

Happily ever after doesn’t come easy. But for love, it’s always worth the fight.

Olivia finds bliss unlike any she’s ever known in Cash’s arms. He sets her skin on fire and melts her heart right inside her chest. Unfortunately, their happily ever after is short-lived when a shadow from Cash’s past threatens to turn their world upside down.

Dangerous people from his father’s world have discovered that Cash holds information that could put them away for a very long time. And they’re willing to do anything—and hurt anybody—to get it back. Giving it up means Cash must choose between the life of his father and the life of Olivia.

Having nearly overcome her wariness of bad boys, Olivia’s trust is shaken when this new threat arises. Now she finds that Cash is not only a danger to her heart, but his family has associations that are a danger to her life as well. She soon discovers that there are some situations in life where trust is a girl’s only option. And this is one of them. If she’s to live, she must trust Cash with her life. But to Olivia, that’s much, much easier than letting go and trusting him with her heart.

In Up To Me the story picks up where Down to You ended. Olivia and Cash are at work in the club. Taryn (skank trouble maker) does a fine job of destroying any confidence Olivia had in her relationship with Cash.

"Any girl who goes into a relationship with Cash thinking she'll change him or that she'll be the only one is dumber than a box of her long blond hair."

And if that wasn't enough, things go horribly wrong for Olivia's cousin Marissa thanks to the criminals associated with Cash's father. Olivia fights with herself trying to decide if she should trust her heart, her body's desire for Cash or her head that thinks she should run  from this bad boy and his dangerous family. Thank heaven she listens to the body. Ladies you better put on your poise pads when Cash and Olivia get to the hotel. When Cash says "RIDE ME", you will be sitting in a puddle.

Cash decides to call in some reinforcements in his Part-Time Manager Gavin.

I love Gavin. We get to know him more in Up To Me. He's flirty and gorgeous and says things like "Nah, I stow my only super power in my pants" and "Damn, that woman is one mighty bitch. I think my balls just now dropped back down". Did I mention he has an accent?

One of my fave characters, Ginger, is back too. She's happy for Olivia and encourages her relationship with Cash. Here's another fave quote from her.

"I'm just happy to see your hen house being taken care of by such a fabulous cock".

OK, now remember Duffy from the Epilogue of Down To You? Well his sorry ass is back. He's responsible for more than we thought in the whole scandal with Cash's family.

In the end Cash and Olivia are in love and committed but still in deep shit trouble because of Cash's father. I also totally didn't tell you about a MAJOR twist in the story. You'll be like.....

We have a kick ass Giveaway at the end of this post but first I am gonna put in my opinion on this book. First of all it was absolutely fantastic! The suspense was well done and halfway through the book you get a wet fish slap you won't see coming that made me suck a whole ice cube down my throat and choke damn near to death!

This is the kind of book that makes me remember why I used to love to read as a kid. I loved Nancy Drew books where the suspense was palpable! I felt my heartbeat in my throat as well as in my pants while reading Up To Me! Which brings me to the second point in my 2 Cents! The HEAT! HOLY SHIT! Pulse pounding, Pantie Soaking sexual chemistry has never jumped off the page better. I don't know anyone in my natural damn life with stamina as good as Cash's. I had to ask Mrs. Leighton if that shit was even possible!!!?? And If so find me a damn man with that kind of stamina! I don't care if he is ugly as fuck with a face like Mama's baked ziti! With all good stories you gotta have some juicy dramz and you definitely get a fistful of DRAMA to the face with Cash and Olivia that's for damn sure. This book was even better than Down To You and with the juicy epilogue you know that only more exciting shit is on the way! I want to give a big THANK YOU to M. Leighton for the ARC of this book I have to have on my bookshelf soon!

About The Author:

I was born and raised in the United States, and I’ve lived in several of the fabulous fifty. Though I currently live in the deep South, I spent much of my childhood up North and hope to return there one day. A few other things about me: I believe that sometimes you have to look really, REALLY hard to find the good in people, but it's there. I believe that I'm shrinking (I swear five years ago I was two inches taller). I believe my husband is quite possibly one of the most amazing men in the entire world (I can't be sure because I haven't met all of them). I believe coffee and chocolate, when combined, could be the basis for world peace. I believe that Jesus rocks and communism doesn’t. I believe that white makes me look fat and black collects lint. I believe summer's too hot, winter's too cold and fall was made for football. I like dogs better than cats and the first movie in a trilogy is invariably the best. But most of all, I believe that love conquers all

Review: Down To You by M.Leighton

Globug says:

Lawd hammercy!!!! Would you just look at that cover. Yes that's a clue as to how HOT this book is. Like on fiiiyyyaaaahhh!

Get on your poise ladies. It's Twins for the win. Olivia thinks she knows what she needs but her body knows what it wants. It's too bad one guy can't be both of those things. I totally fall for Cash though. One of my fave parts of the books is in the beginning when Cash thinks...

"I've never actually seen someone muster courage. Determination. Something in this girl refuses to give in, to back down. She's rising to the challenge. And it's hot as hell."

I know you were expecting something steamy. Yeah I thought Cash was a stripper too. I just love that part though. I wish I was like Olivia and not such an insecure poser that only acts confident. But whatevs, i'll have to fake it til I make it. I was kind of shocked that her friends tell her more than once she should try out both guys and maybe steal Nash from her cousin/roommate Marissa. That's just wrong even if Marissa is the "triple-S trifecta-spoiled,snobby and snide."

Olivia gives in to her desires but she's not sure who she's giving in to as one of the twins decides to pay a little visit to her bedroom while Marissa is away. But then she makes her choice and follows in her usual pattern of chosing the bad-boy. The guys are hiding something and I kept worrying it was gonna be a multiple personaltiy problem or big fat cheating liar problem. Of course I'm not telling you. I don't do poist (which is my word slam for post spoilers).  Both guys turn out to be sweet, successful, sexy and you know... (thoughtful pause) ....too many choices can kill a girl. Lucky for Olivia she didn't really have to choose. That's all i'm gonna say. I was very happy with ending, until...

Epilogues happen people. Good news is the story is to be continued. =)
