About CHASING RIVER: Armed with two years' worth of savings and the need to experience life outside the bubble of her Oregon small town, twenty-five-year old Amber Welles is prepared for anything. Except dying in Dublin. Had it not been for the bravery of a stranger, she might have. But he takes off before she has the chance to offer her gratitude. Twenty-four-year-old River Delaney is rattled. No one was supposed to get hurt. But then that American tourist showed up. He couldn't let her die, but he also couldn’t risk being identified at the scene—so, he ran. Back to his everyday life of running his family’s pub. Only, everyday life is getting more and more complicated, thanks to his brother, Aengus, and his criminal associations. When the American girl tracks River down, he quickly realizes how much he likes her, how wrong she is for him. And how dangerous it is to have her around. Chasing her off would be the smart move. Maybe it's because he saved her life, or maybe it's because he's completely different from everything she's left behind, but Amber finds herself chasing after River Delaney. Amber isn’t the kind of girl to chase after anyone. And River isn't the kind of guy she'd want to catch.

     Globug's Review

Not gonna lie, River had me at "hello, I'm Irish." He doesn't really say that but he is Irish and yes that alone got my attention. Best part is that his awesome factor never wavered for me.

River Delaney is the middle of three brothers. For him it's like having an angel on one shoulder and the devil on the other. His oldest brother Aengus, the devil, has recently been released from prison and quickly finds his way back to trouble. Then there's Rowen who is in college and helping River run the family pub. He's sweet and fun-loving and totally loyal to River. I loved his character. In River's attempt to keep Aengus out of trouble he finds himself right in the middle of a potentially lethal bombing. He saves the life of Amber Welles but then runs away before he can be identified, or so he thought.

Amber, the daughter of a Sheriff has always followed the rules while her brother spent much of they're childhood braking them. After becoming successful and having a career as a  Nurse she has decided to travel the world before settling down. Ireland was to be only one of the many places she planned to explore. Her plans did not of course include being nearly killed by a pipe bomb. She makes it her mission to find the mystery hero that saved her life. She struggles with being the girl that always does what's expected of her or to let her curiosities help her discover who she really is as an individual. I found Amber to be very likable. She steps out of her comfort zone to persue River, a man that is surrounded by danger and not the kind of guy she can see ever having a future with but his gorgeous looks and hero status make him  irresistible.

The author gives a brief history lesson in the beginning that helped me to better understand the real danger Amber faces by associating with River. River struggles to protect his family from the trouble that Aengus has caused but at the same time he also wants to protect Aengus. His growing feelings for Amber and his self deprecating feelings continue to complicate matters.

Amber and River ultimately give into desire. Their passion pushes them past their doubts until the potential danger becomes a reality and nearly costs them everything. I hoped that Aengus might redeem himself but honestly in the end he was forced to do the right thing and that just wasn't enough. I wasn't thrilled that Amber chose to follow her head more than her heart but that's just because I know I wouldn't have been strong enough to make the choice she did. And her decision does lead to River making some pretty epic choices as well. I have to say Chasing River was my favorite so far in this series. I would love for the author to write a book for the youngest brother Rowen.

And don’t forget BURYING WATER and BECOMING RAIN, the first two books in this thrilling series…

The Girl I Was Before {Review Tour}

THE GIRL I WAS BEFORE by Ginger Scott is finally here! Check out the review and giveaway below!

THE GIRL I WAS BEFORE (Falling #3)
 NA Contemporary Romance
Scheduled to release: June 23, 2015

BLURB:
I’m the selfish one. I suppose that’s the nicest thing people say about me. I’ve heard the other things, too. “Paige Owens is a pretty girl with nothing else to offer. She’s just a good time at a party. She’s stupid, heartless, cold and useless. All she cares about is getting a guy to look at her. Why would anyone want to be her friend?”

Some of those things are true. Others were true. They’re all hurtful.

None of it matters.

I’m ready to make the hard choices. I’m ready to face the consequences. I’m ready to be the girl I was before, and I’m done being the one who lost her way.

I’m ready to become the girl Houston Orr sees when he looks at me.

Houston isn’t a star athlete. He doesn’t play in a band. He’s never going to be president, and his life is so far away from simple and easy it isn’t even funny. He wasn’t part of my plan. But I’m starting to think plans are overrated, and maybe our stories are what we make them. And mine depends entirely on me, and the choices I make…starting now.

Houston is my fairytale. He’s perfectly imperfect. He’s poetry and life. He’s truth and heartbreak, all rolled up in a tall body with dark hair, broad shoulders and green eyes that lull me into submission. He’s nothing I ever thought I wanted, but the very thing I need. He’s the only guy I’ve ever really loved, and he thinks I’m a princess. I fell into him, and now I’m holding on.

But sometimes life takes away our ability to choose. Sometimes…things aren’t in your control. Sometimes, it hurts to be selfless. My only hope is that when it comes time to choose, I get it right.

Welcome to my once upon a time and wish for happily ever after.

Globug's Review

Here's the truth: Paige has been a bitch so far in this series. She continues to have bitch moments in this, the final book of The Falling Series. But the beauty of this story is how she finds redemption.

I had my doubts about Page being likable after she destroyed her twin sister's reputation and nearly ruined her chances of success on the college soccer team in the first two books. Up until this point we've only seen the selfish and self absorbed side of Paige. Finally she has a moment of clarity and sacrifices everything she has dreamed of for her sister. Granted the things she is giving up are all shallow desires but her effort is the beginning of major life changes for Paige. She has a plan.

I fell hard and fast for Houston. He's twenty one and has had to suffer loss that forced him to grow up really fast. He see's something special in Paige. Though neither of them feel a need to be saved, they ultimately rescue each other. It's important to remember that Paige is only eighteen. She's never been in love. Her boyfriend at the start of book three is a whale sized douche. She was not prepared for everything that Houston would bring to her life. I think he brings the likability to Paige's character. Her sister reminds her of the girl she was before but it's Houston that motivates her to be that girl again. He makes her brave. He says the sweetest things to her. He wears his heart on his sleeve for her and is more than happy to be "her spotlight" instead of in the spotlight. I do love that Paige is strong and will stand up for herself. One of my favorite Paige moment is when she stands up to a little boys mom at the park.

When Paige decided to bring down her sisters nemesis she had no idea it was going to cost her more than just her popularity and her rising star in her sorority. But put to the test she finally learns the true meaning of love and that there's no room for selfishness in love. She's just needs help recognizing that she's ready for it and to get over her fear of not being able to love him enough. I love that her sister and friends play a big part in helping Paige and Houston get there happy ending. I can't tell you about the parts that claimed my heart the most without spoiling it for you. But Paige did win me over and Houston wins as book boyfriend of the year. This was the perfect end to the series. Yes it can be read as a standalone. I recommend you read the whole series or even better, you should just read everything written by Ginger Scott. I will gladly share her as one of your favorite authors too.

It's Live!!!

Title:Yield
Series: Legal Affairs- Cal and Macy's story
Author: Sawyer Bennett
Genre: Adult Contemporary Romance
Released Today!!

**Due to sexual content and heavy subject matter of an abusive nature, this book may not be suitable for all audiences.

Yield (verb): to surrender or submit (oneself) to another

Macy Carrington is broken. The strong, beautiful woman that I’ve unwittingly fallen in love with is all kinds of broken from a secret that she has carried for far too long.

A secret so dark, she has gone to great lengths to protect it.

A secret that I’m terrified will one day rip her away from me.

The only time Macy frees herself from the darkness is when she is naked and in my arms. When I am deep inside her body, there is nothing she fears. When she wraps herself around me, she is at peace.

If she would only yield to me completely, I know I can set her free.

* Yield is the final book the Legal Affairs trilogy of Cal and Macy’s story. Clash and Grind, Books #1 and 2 purchase links are below.

Globug's Review

Loved it!!!
So many great things about this series. First of all I already knew I loved the characters from the Legal Affairs series that starred Matt and Mac. I was really excited when Bennett announced a series that focused on their best friends Cal and Macy. Their story starts in Clash and like I said in my review, it starts with a bang.

Yield is the final installment in the Legal Affairs series.  Macy and Cal can't get enough of each other. What started as an incredible "hit it and quit it" quickly turned into exactly what Macy never thought she could have, the love of a beautiful and good hearted man that rocks her world in the bedroom.  Then her past comes knocking and her first instinct is to shut Cal out to protect him. Cal refuses to be pushed away.

I can't even tell you how much I love Cal. He's gorgeous, smart and loyal. I was so happy that he and Matt were able to mend their friendship in this series. He does everything he can to be Macy's knight in shinning armor. He fights for her and for their relationship. I loved that his parents play a part in helping Macy to see what not only relationships between a parent and child should be but also how fulfilling a marriage can be. Cal seriously has the best parents. Poor Macy has the worst parents I've ever read. Cal is her champion and helps her take control of her life and start living the future she deserves. The glimpse at their future given in the epilogue is priceless.

Review Deep Blue Eternity

Deep Blue Eternity
by Natasha Boyd.
Due for release on March 26, 2015

Livvy is on the run. And she’s escaped to the one place nobody will ever find her.

But the isolated cottage isn’t empty. Her refuge is home to a troubled stranger, Tom, there for reasons of his own.

In the intimacy of the abandoned cottage, and the remote wilderness of the island, the electrifying connection between them is impossible to ignore. Both running from their histories and shielding dark secrets, their pasts catch up with them and collide in an unimaginable way.

Deep emotions and powerful chemistry face a painful battle with the tangle of lies, and scars of the past. When the truth emerges, hearts will be shattered.
 Globug's Review

After reading Boyd's first series Eversea, I was so anxious to read Deep Blue Eternity.  I quickly realized that this was a much deeper and darker story than I was expecting.

Olivia is seventeen and running to find solitude and freedom. She obviously feels she won't be missed. She's worked hard to avoid the attention of those around her. Now it's been six years since her older sister Abby, that she adored, died and Livvy has only one place to run. Her Gran's house has only good memories from her childhood and now it belongs to her. She wasn't expecting a gorgeous stranger named Tom to be living there.

Tom knew at some point that Olivia would show up. He has a history with Livvy's dead sister and knows more about what has her running away than he wants to admit. His secrets and guilt begin to grow everyday they spend together in their little cottage on the isolated island in South Carolina.

Because of the location the story takes place there's a black magic/voo doo undertone throughout the story that adds a spooky vibe to things. You know Livvy is haunted by her past but could her sister also be haunting her or trying to get her a message from beyond the grave.

Both characters are hiding from their past but each day has them drawing closer to one another. Tom's secrets are bound to hurt Livvy and the longer he waits to share with her why he's conflicted about his growing feelings for her, the more likely it is that he will surely lose her. And your heart will break as she comes to realize she's in love with Tom and opens her heart to him and he now has to tell why she can't love him. I was sick reading about the horrible reality Livvy admits to living through. Again that spiritual vibe comes back into play as Livvy fights for her life. And I have to mention I love that her little cat plays a huge part as her hero.

The last ten percent of the book was difficult for me to read as all of Livvy and Tom's truths are revealed. The beauty of this story is in the healing of their very broken hearts. The intimacy they share at the end is so off the charts hot and beautiful at the same time. So while the subject matter was not what I was expecting from Boyd, it was a beautiful and emotional experience reading it. I absolutely recommend it.

Favorite Quotes
"When I was younger, in school, high school, I was asked to describe what I thought love was. And that's how I thought of love. Blue and infinite, clear but deep, where no man could truly reach. A deep blue eternity." Loc 2920

"My last thought as everything faded was that rain on the water looked like stars. It was the infinity and wonder of space. Except the surface was kind of blue from the sky and the ray of sun that broke through the clouds." Loc3627

Review: Shaken, Not Stirred

Welcome to Last Call...a bar where the drinks
are cold and the nights are
scorching hot.

Title: Shaken, Not Stirred
Series: Last Call Series, #5
Author: Sawyer Bennett
Genre: Adult Contemporary Romance
Release Date: March 17, 2015

Casey Markham is a man-eater in a rut. Swearing off relationships may keep her heart safe, but she's beginning to question if her casual flings will ever leave her satisfied. She's wondering if it's finally time to let go of the past and stop letting history control her future.

Bad boy biker, Tenn Jennings can't get Casey off his mind. A chance encounter with the beautiful blond has left its mark, and now he's determined to prove her wrong about everything she thought she knew about men.

It’s safe to say… Casey Markham has met her match.

Globug's Review

I was anxious to read Casey Markham's story.  She's the last of her group of friends to find love. The problem is she's not looking for love. She's content to sex'em and leave'em. She's in control and takes what she wants from shallow rich guys. Now we get to discover WHY she avoids love and relationships.

When you read about Casey's first love and about how he took advantage of her you'll want to throttle the guy. A broken heart and serious self-worth issues lead to years of using guys that are just like her ex-boyfriend. Not even her best friends know why she won't commit. A regular Joe is what her BFF thinks she needs to find.

Tenn Jennings is anything but a regular Joe. But Casey doesn't know that. She can tell right away that he would be dangerous to her plans of avoiding love. When he comes rolling up on his motorcycle looking like a dream, Casey's just about ready to throw her plans out the window. Then she figures, what the hell?! He's just passing through town. A one-night stand is the perfect answer.

It's almost like Tenn has a special decoding power. He figures out Casey's game pretty quick and starts tearing down her walls. I love that his method of demolishing those walls to get information about her is by giving her all the information about himself. He's a biker, a marine, a cowboy and a father. Yes! A father. He has a fourteen year old daughter named Zoey and it's one of my favorite things about him. He's a great dad.

One of my favorite parts of the story is when Casey and her best friends get together for one of their weekly breakfast gatherings. As Casey describes how Tenn makes her feel, she's the only one that doesn't recognize that she's in love. Her friends best advice is to "Make love your bitch." Now that is something Casey thinks she can do. Then life swoops and things aren't so simple. But relationships can grow stronger through hard times. (Sex while riding a horse seems to really help too). And the author does an amazing job delivering a epic happy ending.  Shaken, Not Stirred can be read as a stand-alone but I have loved all of the books in the series and highly recommend that you read them.

Favorite Quotes

"Yeah... it feels like the lifting of dark clouds on a rainy day... that moment when the sun peeks out and a rainbow magically appears." Loc 3132

"For the first time ever, I have the love of a woman that is more precious to me than the oxygen that sustains me. More important than my dreams to open a custom motorcycle shop. More essential to my way of living than anything else." Loc 3864

"Unfortunately, exhaustion got the better of me and after I heated Casey's ass up, I fucked myself into a coma, promptly falling asleep after I had the mother lode of all orgasms." Loc 4097

Wild Reckless Review Tour

Join us in celebrating the release of WILD RECKLESS by Ginger Scott!

WILD RECKLESS
Very Mature YA Contemporary Romance
Scheduled to release: March 17, 2015

BLURB:
Kensington Worth had a vision for her senior year. It involved her best friends, her posh private school in downtown Chicago and time alone with her piano until her audition was perfected, a guaranteed ticket into the best music programs in the world.

Instead, a nightmare took over.

It didn’t happen all at once, but her life unraveled quickly—a tiny thread that evil somehow kept pulling until everything precious was taken from her. She was suddenly living miles away from her old life, trapped in an existence she didn’t choose—one determined to destroy her from the inside, leaving only hate and anger behind. It didn’t help that her neighbor, the one whose eyes held danger, was enjoying every second of her fall.

Owen Harper was trouble, his heart wild and his past the kind that’s spoken about in whispers. And somehow, his path was always intertwined with Kensington’s, every interaction crushing her, ruining her hope for any future better than her now. Sometimes, though, what everyone warns is trouble, is exactly what the heart needs. Owen Harper was consumed with darkness, and it held onto his soul for years. When Kensington looked at him, she saw a boy who’d gotten good at taking others down when they threatened his carefully balanced life. But the more she looked, the more she saw other things too—good things…things to admire.

Things…to love. Things that made her want to be reckless.

And those things…they were the scariest of all.

Globug's Review

I could feel the author setting me up to fall in love within the prologue alone. I'm a goner for the broken boy and Owen is so broken. He's only 5yo when he witnesses his father commit suicide. Thirteen years later he's the dark, mysterious and possibly evil neighbor Kensington meets as she moves into her new home.

Kensington is angry with being moved to a new town for her senior year. You learn quickly that her father is overbearing and makes all of the big decisions in her family. She's a gifted pianist and her father nurtures her gift but he also tries to dictate what she plays. She loves jazz and her dad is all about classical music.  To make matters worse, her new neighbor is a creepy jerk and also in her classes at school. People always look at Owen and remember his past but Kensington looks at him and sees his future.

One of my favorite things about this story is watching Kensington stand up to Owen's assholery and layer by layer she is able to uncover his true nature. Her tense run-ins with Owen continue to escalate until Owen reveals a secret that destroys Kensi's family and her dreams of music. But he also shares a glimpse of his heart with her that confirms what she suspected, Owen is heartbroken and for that she is able to understand and forgive his insensitive behavior.

The beauty of this story is in not only the revealing of each truth about how special and sweet Owen is but also in his need to protect his family and now Kensi as well. He's so selfless and smart and refuses to follow his own dreams and potential to make sure his families needs are met first. I love the way he takes care of his younger brother Andrew. There is a heart wrenching moment when Owen is taking care of his older brother as he going into withdrawals. And another glimpse at the sweet boy that loves his grandpa. My favorite moment is when Kensi helps Owen face his memories/fears on the Ferris Wheel at the Apple Festival. Theses are the parts of Owen that Kensi see's and falls in love with. Finally someone that's willing to put Owen first and make sure his needs are met. His biggest ychallenge now is accepting what Kensi is offering, which is everything.

I have loved all of Ginger Scott's books. They continue to get better and better. Each one has something special that claims my heart . I would love for the author to continue this story from Owen's younger brother Andrew's POV. He is a darlin.

Amazon * iBooks

 Globug's Review

So after reading Reckless Love I'm thinking Myth Busters needs to do an episode about the validity of the "no sex before a fight" rule. Does it really benefit the fighter so much that it's worth abstaining?

Ian is a MMA fighter on the brink of making it big. MacKenzie is a nurse. They share best friends, Cade and Alex who you may remember from Ryan's book Hard To Love.  Their attraction to each other is fierce and it looks like things are going from zero to nuclear until Ian shuts down the action leaving Kenzie with a puddle in her pants and the unforgettable sting of rejection. All because Ian believes that he can fight better if he doesn't have sex before a match. That's just like thinking new shoes make you run faster and jump higher too. Now circumstances have them working together daily.

One of my favorite things about Ian is that his attraction for Kenzie never wavers. I can't blame Kenzie for trying to move on. She has no reason to think Ian wants anything to do with her. With her history of growing up as a foster kid it's easy for her to believe no one wants her or would keep her long term. But inspite of her failed attempt with Ian she continues to be supportive of him. She helps him trough his physical therapy and just as their developing friendship turns oral, I mean hot, the O party gets shut down again.

Unfortunately, Kenzie's attempt at getting over Ian is a massive asshole named Chris. He also happens to be her boss and Ian's coach. He turns out to be ginormous mistake. In this case the best way to correct a mistake is to beat the ever loving shit out of him. YAY!!! I love that Chris gets what he deserves. Finally Ian and Kenzie are on the road to happily ever after. Another excellent read from Kendall Ryan.

Globug's Review of UNCIVILIZED by Sawyer Bennett

Title: Uncivilized
Genre: Erotic Romance
Author: Sawyer Bennett
Release date: September 8, 2014
*Arc provided for honest review

**Warning! This book and even the synopsis is intended for 18+

Putting a woman on her knees before me is what really makes my cock hard. I fuck with dominant force and absolute control. I demand complete surrender from my conquests.

Savage man, loner, warrior… I am dangerous at my core. I have lived amidst the untamed wild of the rainforest, in a society that reveres me and where every woman falls before me in subjugation.

Now I’ve been discovered. Forced to return to a world that I have forgotten about and to a culture that is only vaguely familiar to my senses.

Dr. Moira Reed is an anthropologist who has been hired to help me transition back into modern society. It’s her job to smooth away my rough edges… to teach me how to navigate properly through this new life of mine. She wants to tame me.

She’ll never win.

I am wild, free and raw, and the only thing I want from the beautiful Moira Reed is to fuck her into submission.

She wants it, I am certain.

I will give it to her soon.

Yes, very soon, I will become the teacher and she will become my student. And when I am finished showing her body pleasure like no other, she’ll know what it feels like to be claimed by an uncivilized man.

 Globug's Review

WOW (said in hushed awe) is what I have to say after reading Uncivilized. As I most often do, I started reading it without reading the synopsis. I love this author and will always want to read her work so I just jumped right in. This is NOT your average Sawyer Bennett book. It's more erotic than any of her other work. I felt like this was her take on Tarzan. Not the animated one but Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan.

Zacharias Easton was born in America to parents that were Christian Missionaries. At the age of seven they traveled to the Amazon to teach religion to the Caraican Indians that dwell in the rainforest. His parents died of a fever and one of the Elders of the tribe adopted Zach as his own son. Now 18 years later Zach is content in his Amazonian home and has little memory of his life in the modern world or the Godfather that wants desperately to bring him back to the states.

Moira Reed was hired to not only bring Zach home but also help him acclimate to living in a modern society. Her first glimpse of the wild man is very revealing. I mean seriously, he walks up to the camp completely naked as is the way of the people of his tribe. While the tribe has the celebratory feast he decides to enjoy another tribal tradition and mounts one of the women right in front of every one. They don't hide their sexuality and the women are subservient to whatever the man wants, when and where ever her wants it. Can you imagine? Well me neither until Bennett gives us all the details of the sexual encounter. Needless to say Moira got an eye full and was insanely turned on.

Against he wishes, Zach returns to the states with Moira fully determined to make his trip unsuccessful and return to the Amazon. That includes making Moira uncomfortable because of the part she plays in removing him from his home. She introduces Zach to the internet and visits the library. The most entertaining part is when Zach is left alone with the computer and quickly discovers Google. You can imagine the wealth of knowledge he found when searching terms like sex and orgasm. By the time Moira returns he has a whole new slang vocabulary and a clear picture of sex like he has never before imagined. He's has a huge sexual appetite but has never experience sex that involved any emotion. It only served a most basic need of release as a man of the tribe. He's use to having complete control over the woman and sets his sights on having Moira. She's strong willed but quickly gives in to Zach's command.

Their relationship starts as a sexual exploration and while it's extremely satisfying sexually for both of them, Moira is often left with her feelings hurt because Zach doesn't know the usual customs a woman in the modern world expects, like after sex cuddling. But she's patient and understanding and doesn't push him to change.Zach develops feelings for Moira that make him question what he really wants for his future. His resentment towards Moira and his godfather becomes less and less. I was starting to think Bennett was going to just gradually build this story to a happily ever after with no major angst moment. The sex just gets better and better and they try new things that builds their trust and increases their desire even more. But the bottom does fall out. I'm just not going to tell you how.

In true Bennett fashion love comes through. It was a pleasure to read and the primal nature of the sexual relationship was intensely hot. I feel instead of 5 stars that I should give this a 5 poise rating. (#MOISTURECONTROLSITUATION)

A Risk Worth Taking {Reveiw & Giveaway}

New Adult Contemporary

BOOK SUMMARY:

When 22-year-old Summer Stafford’s parents split halfway through her senior year at college, Summer’s world is rocked. Everything she thought she knew—heck, everything she thought she wanted for her own life—feels like a lie. The truth is love is a risk. And the true kind, the kind that lasts, might even be a fairy tale.
Reeling from the divorce, Summer derails her own future by breaking up with her parent-approved boyfriend and giving up her lifelong plans for a big-city career. She moves back home, business degree in hand. Dad needs her to fill the gaps her mother left behind; Summer needs to find who she is outside of the cookie-cutter life that failed so miserably for her parents.
Ford O’Neal’s future involves one person: himself. He doesn’t have a permanent address and he definitely doesn’t commit. To a place or a person. Raised by hippies, he plans just far enough ahead to secure his next stop, this one landing him at a work-study program at Heritage Plantation where he can grow his own herbal and medicinal creations.

Globug's Take:

If you think about it, most of us imagined finding love as this romantic and poetic journey to finding the person that will bring epic emotion and completion to our soul. I don't remember ever being warned about the work and actual commitment it would involve in making that love last the rest of my life. In this story, Summer thought her parents had the perfect marriage. Surely she could recognize love when she found it. Then without warning her mother leaves and files for divorce. And just like Summer, you won't find out the truth behind her mothers leaving until near the end of the book. Yes, my imagination went wild with possibilities of her motivation to leave Summer's dad after decades of marriage.

Summer loses all faith in lasting love. She's determined to help her father overcome the devastated depression he must be in and return home to help run the plantation. But in truth, she is the one that's devastated and depressed. He's doing just fine. She turn's her back on relationships and is determined that love is not worth the risk of being hurt. Summer wasn't expecting the delicious hunk of man by the name of Ford to walk into the picture. I loved how everyone around her could instantly see the chemistry and desire between these two. You will love the banter between Summer and her childhood best friend Casey. They grew up together like brother and sister.

Ford is just as emotionally unavailable as Summer. He too had parents that seemed to have the perfect relationship. Though his parents remain happily married, Ford doesn't want to repeat his father's history of having a wife and kids before really living out his dreams. So he is determined to live life to the fullest (sow his wild oats) without commitment, a no strings attached kind of man.

The sexual tension was intense at times (YAY!!). One is ready and willing for the no-strings-mind-blowing-sex and the other isn't sure there can be no strings. Passion wins over the battle of will to resist. Neither expects to lose their heart. Both characters realize they have to let go of their misconceptions about their parents relationships and follow their own hearts. My heart broke when they didn't come to their conclusions at the same time. Men can be pretty dim sometimes. The happy ending does come though. Of course it's after the characters learn that love is A Risk Worth Taking ♥
