I'm sitting in a coffeehouse, face to face with Chris Knots. It's been almost a year since his big win on Superstardom, and I'm here to bring you all the juicy little tidbits and ask those questions we've all been wondering. He's wearing light-washed distressed jeans, a grey and white patterned button-down, and his signature black leather jacket. A pair of silver mirrored Avaitor  sunglasses sits on the table.

"Hi, Chris. Thank you for seeing me today. Are you ready to get started?"

"Sure," he says with a charismatic grin. “What would you like to know?”

"Let’s start with this. What are some of your annoying habits?"

He laughs. "I chew my fingernails. And I drink milk from the carton. It bothers Allie. She lectures me all the time about how gross it is, but there's just something about the way milk tastes
straight out of the jug. You just can’t get that with a cup."

"What annoys you?"

"I can’t stand liars. Or fake people. Rudeness. Poor manners. How much time do we have? I could probably go on for awhile.”

It’s my turn to laugh. “We get the picture, I think. What do you foresee in your immediate future?"

"I try not to think too far ahead. I want to live each day, one at a time, and make them all matter. But I hope to continue to write songs and record albums."

"And with Allie?"

He fiddles with the sunglasses and looks down, smiling. "Things are going great. Really, really great, actually."

"What was it that made you keep pursuing her, even after all the times she pushed you away?"

"Well, I guess I just knew she was something worth having. Smart, sexy, complicated, and interesting all rolled into one. I think the part that really got me, at least in the beginning, was that she treated me just like she would anyone else. There wasn't anything
fake about her."

"What was your first impression of her?"

" Sophisticated. Intelligent. Gorgeous. I could tell right away she was a caring and sincere person. And I really liked that."

"Will we be hearing any big announcements anytime soon, as far as the two of you are concerned?"

He gives me a big smile and drums his fingers on the table. "I've got
plans, but I can't say
anything more than that. Wouldn't want to ruin the surprise."

"Of course not,” I say, respecting his privacy. “Switching gears, we all
know you idolize Elvis what are some of your favorite contemporary bands?"*

"I really like this band called Daughtry, ever heard of them? You should
check them out,”
he says when I shake my head. “Some others are Shinedown, Nickelback, Seether, Creed, Staind. There are so many!"

"What’s your idea of a dream vacation?"

"On a deserted island, preferably nude, with Allie."

That makes me laugh. “And with that, we’re out of time. Thank you so much
for doing this. I hope we can get together again sometime.”

“Absolutely,” he says. “And stay tuned. Assuming things go my way, there’s going to be a lot more to tell.”

Blog Tour Stop: Character Interview, GIVEAWAY and Mini Review of Give Me Something by Elizabeth Lee

Synopsis:
Here's the deal... I learned a long time ago that sometimes you have to use what you've got to make things happen. What I happen to have is a pretty smile, long legs and the ability to make men believe anything I say. Before you get on your high horse and start judging me, can you honestly say you've never batted your lashes at some guy for a free drink at the bar? That's what I thought.

Keep that in mind as I tell you my story of how I took it one step further. My story of lies, deceit, manipulation and love. Yeah, love. Believe me, it fits. Especially, when you factor in Nick and Tucker – one had my heart and the other one wanted it all for himself. Which one? Well, I can't tell you that. It would defeat the purpose of the story. If I'm going to fill you in about me, Lila Garrison, and my life as a con artist you're going to need to know all the facts, including the ones about the two guys who made me want to give up the life of fancy clothes, expensive jewelry, fast cars and easy money. Because sometimes, one person can give you something that's more valuable than all of that.

If you're still interested, stick around. Just remember, I'm pretty good at convincing people to do what I want, so if by the end of this whole thing you feel worked over, don't say I didn't warn you.

Lila Garrison grew up in a humble home with average parents who didn't make a lot of money but they were happy. Only Lila wasn't as happy with hand me down rags and her parents mediocre wages and wanted more out of life. She ends up leaving her parents behind in order to follow her long time friend and the guy she has been in love with for years, Nick Dammery to scheme anything she can off unsuspecting marks. With Nicks help she cons several men out of thousands, and she has never been tempted by a mark as long as she holds unrequited love for Nick. Until the day she meets her latest mark Tucker Kline. Tall, muscular and blue eyed Tucker gets to Lila in a way Nick couldn't and she soon learns the tables may turn as she becomes his mark instead! As she gets closer to Tucker she starts to fall head over feet for him, but when He finds out her scheme with Nick she worries that he won't be able to forgive her. Meanwhile Nick doesn't like the fact that Lila is losing focus on their schemes and tries his best to keep her for himself so they can keep on conning but Tucker's hold on her may be stronger than his. A big secret rocks both Tucker and Nick's world and Lila becomes the glue to hold them both together when the smoke clears.

This book is filled with Humor, Heart and HEAT! The chemistry between Lila and Tucker is instant, from the first look across a crowded frat party. Tucker is such a wonderful character and his sweet southern charm will make you want a guy just like him! (If you don't already have one) He is such a swoon worthy male with his sexy swagger and gentlemanly attitude Lila never stood a chance. There is a particular moment in this book where we see into Tucker's history that will make your eyes bug outta your head and then you will want to be one of the lucky ones!!

I loved watching Lila slowly melt when she was around Tucker. She couldn't help still feeling something for Nick who was her first everything but her draw to Tucker is much more potent than she ever knew with Nick. I loved how she started to have a change of heart about her way of living and with Tucker's help she found a new direction. This is one of my favorite book couples because they work through any issues they face and become stronger for it.

Nick is such a lovable douche bag you just can't help but fall for him. Even though he basically pimps Lila out and uses her feelings for him to manipulate her at times. Besides the fact that he ends up banging her best friend he had his moments where he could be really sweet and show that he could be a friend to Lila. I would love to see more from Nick down the road because I have a feeling his book will be filled with fun and Fuckery!

There are a few surprise guests that pop in this book that you might remember if you read Lee's first book Shattered. I really enjoyed seeing these cross over characters because I didn't get enough of them and it was nice to see what they had been up to!

Give Me Something is more upbeat and fun than Shattered was, and the characters make everything interesting the further you get into the book. I enjoyed this story very much and I was lucky to get a beta copy before it was published. I know you will enjoy this lighthearted and romantic look through the eyes of a female con artist!

I closed my eyes as I felt his hands move back up my body and settle on my hips. “The things I’m gonna do to you…” he whispered. A combination of a moan and a sigh passed my lips as I imagined all the things I wanted him to do. loc. 975

He took my face in his hands, letting his fingers slip into the curls of my hair. “You have nothing to worry about.” The blue irises of his eyes entranced me. “You and me,” he started with an assured smiled, “we’re going to be amazing together.” loc. 2556

Hootie: I'm sitting here with Tucker Kline and Nick... I'm sorry what's your last name again?

Nick: *smirks* Does it really matter, Amanda? Most women only need a first name to scream out.

Tucker: It's douche bag.

Hootie: (LOL) Good one Tucker *high five*
Nick that is true, you seem to be a little bit of a ladies man. What is it about you that is so irresistible?

Nick: I guess I just know all the right things to say. *winks*  But seriously, you think I'm a ladies man?  Have you met Tucker "Man Whore" Kline, over here.  *smacks Tuck on the back*

Tucker: Watch it, DJ Jazzy Jeff. *smiles*  I'm a one woman kind of guy now.

Hootie: Ugh you guys are great... speaking of man whore, Tucker we find out in Give Me $omething you do have a checkered past as far as the ladies go. How the hell do you bang your way through a small town?

Tucker: It's not as hard as you'd think.  If you've ever been to the country, you know there's not a whole hell of a lot to do.  Now that I think about it, it was pretty stupid.  It's not like I set out with a goal or anything. *shrugs*  I guess girls just like me.

Nick: Just look at him.  I'm a confident guy.  I'll admit it... he's pretty fucking cute.

Hootie: Hahaha touche Tucker. So this story centers around Lila and her need to have nice things and get them by almost any means neccisary, Nick did you ever feel bad for basically pimping Lila out? And Tucker how did you feel when you found out you were a mark?

Nick: First of all. I never "pimped" her out.  Lila and I grew up with nothing.  Maybe we let the greed go to our heads a little bit, but, hey, we were just trying to survive.

Tucker: Whatever.  You were just using her to cash in.  *sighs*   This is sore subject. Do we really need to talk about all this?

Nick: Seriously. I didn't pimp her out.  I never made her do anything she didn't want to do.

Tucker: Okay, buddy. *rolls eyes*

*door opens, Lila peeks in*

Lila: He's right Tucker.  I'm a big girl. I made my own decisions.  *Looks at Hootie*  Think you could steer the subject in another direction?  I just put all this shit to bed.

Hootie:  Yikes, moving on... Tucker, how did you know Lila was serious about you not being another mark? Was there something in particular she said or did to reassure you? And what do you think your dad would say to you about the situation?

Tucker: Going deep, huh? *chuckles*  I don't really know how to explain it without sounding like a total chick.  She didn't have to say or do anything.  I just knew she was the girl I was supposed to be with.  She calls me on my bullshit and she's stubborn as all get out, but at the same time she's sweet and she really does care about people, regardless of what she says.  *shrugs*  I just love her.  My dad would love her too.

Nick: You're right.  You do sound like a chick.

Tucker: Whatever, dick.  You know she's special.

Nick: *regretfully nods*  Yeah, I know

Hootie: In give me something you two seem to fight alot. There is obviously still some kinks in your relationship with each other I see. Are you two getting along any better these days?

Nick: We are working on it.  Lila is making sure of that.  I'd say we definitely don't hate each other.

Tucker: Yeah.  We've both accepted the fact that we are going to be in each other's lives.  I don't want to give away to much of our story, so let's just say we are giving it our best shot.

Nick: Despite his bitchy outward appearance... this guy loves me.

Tucker: Now who sounds like a chick?

Nick: *smirks* Well played.

Hootie: That's good to hear. Tucker how is the family business going now days?

Tucker: It's great!  Everything seems to be running smoothly. In work... and life.  I really couldn't be happier.

Hootie: Ok boys here is the lightning round, if you could dress up as any FEMALE celebrity for Day, who would it be and why?

Tucker: That's a weird question.

Nick: Beyoncé.

Tucker: Really? No hesitation?

Nick: What? She's got style.

Tucker: Um... I guess... Carrie Underwood.

Hootie: Hahaha! Classy guys! Ok Tucker a more "manly" question for you since Nick is secure in his manhood, what super hero would you be for a day?

 Tucker: Captain America

Nick: Hulk

Tucker: How fitting.  You just love to tear shit up.

Nick: *raises middle finger*

Hootie: Hey Tuck don't you think Nick and Randi would make a good couple?

Tucker: *laughs* I wouldn't wish that girl on my worst enemy.

Nick: See! I told you he loved me!

Hootie: Nick we talked earlier about you being a ladies man but do you think you will find someone to settle down with in the future? Or will you be 90 years old still chasin' tail?

Nick: I hope not.  Believe it or not, I do want to settle down and have a family some day.  I just haven't found the right girl.  The last girl I loved set the bar pretty high.

Hootie: Aww. So Nick do you think Elizabeth will give the readers a story about you down the road? And if so what do you want your story to say about you?

Nick: She'd be crazy not too!  I'm golden.  I know all the ladies out there want to know what I'm up to.  And I know for a fact, that even though you said, and I quote, "Nick made me want me want to punch kittens," that you've got a little bit of a soft spot for me, Hootie.  *winks*

Hootie: You got me nick, I almost wish I wasn't built like an Ore Ida Spud so I could call dibs on you myself *wink* OK boys so which of you has the best abs?

Tucker: First of all... you're gorgeous.

Nick: Seriously.

Tucker: Second of all... obviously me.  Have you seen this scrawny punk over here.

Nick: Just because I'm not all roided out like you doesn't mean I'm scrawny.  I've got muscles in all the right places... if you know what I mean.

Tucker: This body is all natural.  You're just jealous.

Hootie: You guys make this interview fun! OK so In closing because I am sure Lila wants you back Tucker, You boys Sum up give me something usually only sexual inuendo :)

Tucker: This is tough, considering you're the queen of inappropriate, Amanda, but I'll give it a whirl.  Give Me Something is great story... you should really "come" on over and read it.

Nick: Yeah, it really is the whole "package."

Hootie: HAHAHA! Great job boys, thank you so much for taking the time to talk to me. Tucker good luck with the business and with Lila, Nick *finger phone* Call me *wink*

Tucker: Thanks, babe! This was fun.

Nick: I'll be seeing you soon! *winks*

About The Author:
Born and raised in the middle of a Midwestern cornfield (not literally, that would be weird), I’ve spent my entire life imagining stories. Stories where the right guy always gets the right girl, first kisses are as magical as they are on the big screen and anything is completely possible if you believe.
Although this journey began years ago, it recently took on a whole new life. After years of devouring hundreds of Romance, YA and New Adult novels, I had an epiphany... I should write a book. And I did it! My first YA/New Adult novel is out now!

If I’m not reading, writing, enjoying drinks with my amazing group of girlfriends or chasing around a sarcastically funny one-year old, I’m probably watching television shows that were created for teenagers, while my husband teases that I’m too old to watch them.
