WOW! What a wild ass ride this book was! I think this was the hottest book Abbi has written to date. I was really glad this book followed Blaire's perspective only because I didn't like Rush at first and would have hated reading his side. Blaire is coming off a really tragic time in her life after her mother dies and seeks her father out for a little help. That bastard ran off on his sick wife and left his daughter to clean up the mess. Once Blaire gets to her dads supposed home she finds out that it really belongs to her step brother. Rush Finlay. He treats her like shit and agrees to let her stay in a tiny room behind his shitty food pantry. She promises not to get in the way and pay her fair share especially after getting a job at the local golf course. I have become a huge fan of the ABC show Nashville and the entire time I read this book I imagined Claire Bowen as Blaire.
I mean this girl IS Blaire! Her sweet demeanor and big blue eyes and innocent expressions embody the persona of Blaire to me. I became extremely protective of Blaire while reading this book. As the situation with Rush becomes less awkward as time passes they start to develop a relationship that had me worried because Rush is kind of a prick about women. Blaire witnessed some of his shitty behavior earlier in the story but she just couldn't help herself because let's face it OK, if the guy on the cover is any indicator then Rush is fine as fuck! This kat was one sexy character once you get passed the Douche-Baggery. It honestly took me a while to love him because I so fiercely adore Blaire and hated the way he treated her. Once he softened up and didn't act like a dick to her anymore he wasn't so bad. We get some really intense sex scenes in this book and MAMA. LIKE.
All good things have to turn to complete shit and can't stay all Happy Days because Blaire discovers something monumental that everyone but her knows. The whole damn town knows and it hurt my heart for Blaire when she learns the truth. This whole scene broke my heart and not just for Blaire but for Rush too because you start to see him in a different light by the time the shit hits the fan. I love how Blaire befriends the town slut and helps her get a backbone. This was a good story and thankfully this isn't the last we have heard from Rush and Blaire.

I really liked this one. I still have to review it. The sex scenes are pretty hot, your gif reminded me of my hick cousin. lol. she used to just fuck anyone. she told us that she was having save sex because she only ever did it in the shower. She was being serious.
