One Wild Night Can Change Everything

Valerie Wilder doesn’t do serious relationships. She also doesn’t usually wake up in Vegas next to a male stripper…

A male stripper who happens to be her new husband.

A quickie divorce seems like the answer, but the Nevada legal system doesn’t think so.  When her new husband suggests flying back to Chicago with Valerie she accepts, wondering if one night in Vegas could turn into something much more.

My Review:

The idea of marrying a stranger in Vegas has always been a secret fascination for me and would have become a reality had I gotten to go this past year but I digress. After reading The Only One I had a feeling that Valerie would be an amazing and funny character to read about. One Wilds Night was a wild ride filled with hot abs and hotter sex!

Valerie Wilder is a character I could absolutely see myself in. She is snarky and funny and a surprise to me she's not the average stick thin woman. She's curvy and vivacious and her past experiences with men have given her a complex about herself making her feel like she's only good for one thing. I could totally understand her mindset of feeling like if she just give sit up first hand then she doesn't have to wait for the inevitable end to the relationship. The way she felt both broke my heart for her and wrapped me around her finger. It's difficult to be a young woman and deal with body issues and discovering Val had her own was surprising to me because upon first glance she seems to be super confident  After a night out with her coworkers drinking and judging a hot abs contest she wakes up with the winner in her bed and barely any memory of what happened.

I absolutely loved Wes! He was sexy, confident and very sweet. Once they get on the same page about what happened between them the night before the truth about Wes comes out. Vegas was a pitstop for him to make money before he would head to California to make his dreams come true. I was upset with him at first because it seemed he married Val for one reason and my heart broke thinking she would experience more of the same feelings she's been struggling with. He quickly stole my heart with his genuine personality and affection for Valerie. There is more to this beefcake than meets the eye and I can't wait to peel his layer back as the serials continue.

One thing I love about the way Vernon writes is how she can grab your attention and deliver a story with a perfect combination of heat and heart. I am extremely excited to find out what happens between Valeria and Wes in the next installment because the way it was left is juicy!

Quotes:

"It's Vegas, baby, everything here happens fast." He leaned closer. "But is Valerie wants me to take it slow, I can go all night long." "Maybe she's saving herself for marriage," Pam blurted. My head spun so fast in her direction. I was afraid I sprained something. I was definitely not saving anything for marriage. Not even my butt virginity. ARC 31%

He was an internal optimist and I couldn't hate him for that. I didn't know what scared me more, that I had an accidental husband or that I was starting to really like the guy. ARC 65%
