Intriguing Synopsis? Check! Delicious cover complete with juicy man booty? Check! Upon first glance you would think this book is going to be about non stop sex and foreplay. There is a little bit of that but what you actually get is an intense story about two people with different motives trying to maintain a relationship under strained circumstances.
Brooke Stewart is a real estate agent just trying to make her dream of working for a big company come true one day. When she meets one of her firms biggest clients she is less than thrilled with his appearance and demeanor but still attracted to him enough to realize he is trouble. (See Video Below)

Waking up next to Jett Townsend should have been exciting and hot but she is so mortified at her behavior she pushes him away. It's not until she is given a new position at the biggest real estate firm and whisked away to Italy that she finds none other than Jett Townsend! He's her new boss and boy is she stunned! (He used a different name during their first meeting so she wouldn't know who he was at first.) The attraction between them is mutual and trying to fight it is pointless so he comes up with a solution to their dilemma. This was my first experience with a story involving a sex contract so I was a little put off by the idea until I got into the actual concept and what it detailed. 2 months of letting this hot hunk of Italian sausage poke the mouse hole sounds good right? I thought it would be too and don't get me wrong, the sex and shit was damn HOT but it took longer to get there. It's a very slow build up for these two characters and the whole time you are salivating like a Komodo Dragon waiting for them to STFU and do it!
They spend two weeks in Italy working during the day and doing the "Squeaky Squeaky" at night and during this time they start to get closer than Brooke usually gets with guys. She is used to running especially after a tragic event that shattered her family and left her with emotional scars that run deep. Jett is the only man she has ever confided in about it and for the first time she manages to stay long enough to actually fall in love for the first time. When they arrive back to the states and they discuss being an actual couple Brooke is finally at a place where she can let her guard down.....until she is given reason not to!
Who the hell knew there would be a mystery/suspense element to this book? I surely didn't. I thought by the juicy backside that graces the cover that it would mainly be about a man whore trying to acquire the good girl. I was going back and forth on my rating between a 3 and a 4 as I got closer to the end because I didn't know what the purpose for the story was until the plot went from zero to sixty in the time it took to turn a page! There is a huge plot twist that caught me by surprise! I am usually the queen of figuring out a suspense plot like a blood hound but the author did such a good job of disguising the dramatics behind the anticipation of what was happening between Jett and Brooke. The ending is very intense and I was thinking "Surely the author wouldn't just leave it like this...right?" Thankfully upon turning the last page I found out that she plans to continue the story of Jett and Brooke!
Overall this was a pretty decent book with a great plot twist and well written characters. I loved Jett and have always had a soft spot, (and by soft spot I mean my Vagina!) for Italian men with black hair and green eyes! You can never go wrong with a guy described like that! Brooke was a bit of a bitch from time to time, but I can kind of understand where she was coming from. With what she was keeping inside I can see her stance on men in general. Usually I like the best friend in stories like this but for some reason Brooke's best friend Sylvie rubbed me the wrong way. The whole time I was reading this I was thinking that she was a shady character. My "Spidey Sense" was always tingling when she was around and for a short time I actually thought she was involved in this plot twist. She still might be because the story isn't over so you never know. While I didn't fall totally in love with this book I did like it and am definitely looking forward to what is in store for Brooke and Jett in the future.
