I was so excited to start this book. At the end of Under The Never Sky, Aria is on her way to reunite with Perry. Through The Ever Night starts in Perry's POV as he is on his way to find Aria.
If only happy moments lasted. Perry and Aria return to The Tides and they're not so happy to see a dweller with their Blood Lord. They keep their relationship on the down-low for now. Brooke continues to be a jealous winch. With all the negative feelings towards Aria being there and then an attempt on her life, her and Roar leave the tribe to find Perry's sister and the Still Blue.
While Roar and Aria are on their journey, Perry is on one to gain the trust of his people and faith in himself as their Blood Lord. Honestly, his journey is the harder one. Between losing part of his tribe to dissension and the increasing danger from the Aether storms, Perry is near losing everything. In comes the calvery led by a blonde skank named Kirra that I promise you will hate. She was sent by Sable (the leader of the Horns tribe who is to marry Perry's sister Liv). This Kirra girl decides to make a play for Perry.
I think this caused me the most anxiety. I can't handle the doubts that Perry and Aria have about their relationship. I was really happy about a character from book one that comes back. I did not expect to want to like this guy. I won't ruin the surprise of who it is. But he comes through big time for Aria. In the end Perry has earned the trust of his tribe and reunited with the loves of his life. I loved it and will be anxiously waiting for the next book.

Gretchen and her twin brother, Hank, were abandoned to a zombie horde when they were five years old. Intended to be a sacrifice by their zealot parents, they were instead rescued by The Company.
