My Review:

I love stories about married couples who have lost the spark in their sex life and try new and exciting things to get it back. The marriage diaries was a sizzling and sexy series featuring Dean and Jillian. A couple who have been together since high school and after seeing their two boys off to college and the military are about to discover fantasies about the other person that they never would have guessed they liked.

The Awakening - Introduces us to Jillian and Dean and from the beginning you can tell that Jillian has always wanted a spicier love life. She knows Dean is a wild man just waiting to be let loose and takes the initiative to surprise him at work with some sexy leingerie and an office fantasy. I really liked these two from the beginning of the story, You could really tell that this was a couple who was deeply in love with each other and wanted to please the other person. It was realy fun watching Jillian not only come out of her shell but bring Dean out of his albeit slowly but surely.

The Seduction - steps up the sexy as Dean takes the regns now that he knows Jillian is ready for a little more fun and becomes the dominant one in the bedroom. He's always had fantasies of what he wants to do to her but has always felt like it would be too much for her to handle. In this one they play with a little light bondage and heavy teasing and experiment with video chatting while seducing each other. It was fun watching them discover what the other person likes sexually speaking. I wa spulled into the story and felt as if I was experiecing their romance all over again along with them.

The Taking - was probably the most fun for me because this one was like an eortic game of hide and seek. Dean gives Jillian a commeand to hide on his way home from work and when he finds her he plans to ravish her right where she's been hiding. It was very steamy and hot to watch Dean be so authoritative with her and yet tame himself to a level where he wouldn't hurt her. This one was based on a fantasy of Jillian's of having a "Stranger" come into their home and force her into a pasisonate encounter. Wha I loved about this ishow safe Dean makes her feel despite the role playing they are doing. Of course no woman wants to be actually forced into something by a real stranger but the fantasy is sexy and alluring and I really enjoyed watching these two plah it out.

The Temptation - tackles a fantasy that Dean has always had. Watching Jillian with another man. Throughout the stories Dean has become increasingly dominant and showing a side to himself that JIllian always knew was in him but he tried to hide. He didn't know how she would feel about the things he wanted so he never expressed himself. So when Jillian sets up his fantasy for him and he watches as she gets close to another man he realizes his fantasy is better left in his imagination.

The Marriage Diaries series was very hot, extremely erotic and at times romantic. I really enjoyed getting to know this couple and watching them rekindle their love life and discover new things about the other person. There were a couple of times that the story would get a little cheesy especially when Dean started howling like a wolf when he came. Let's not forget my number one complaint when reading erotica...CUNT. I am sorry but I just don't like when that word is used as a descriptive for a vagina. It's an insult that I particularly enjoy using and does nothing to turn me on while reading a steamy scene. Dean using it a few times throughout wasn't enough to make me not like the books it just bugs me. That was my only complaint with this series. Overall these books were, I think, a great set for couples who want some sexy ideas for themselves or just a lonely gal like myself to store the info for later. I can't wait to see what the next installment holds for this couple!
