I was the fun loving, easy going, different girl—okay, different girls every night—Demon. One look into a pair of violet eyes and all of that changed. She doesn't even realize how beautiful she is and that makes me want her even more. Realizing that she is just as damaged as I am breaks my heart. Harper is a part of me, my other half. If only she would open her incredible eyes and see how I feel… The Beauty… I knew that I wasn’t Shane Stevenson’s type. Hot rockers don’t go for plain girls like me. Years of my mother telling me just how unbeautiful I am has assured me of that. I have nothing to offer a guy that is so used to hot girls drooling over him. So why is he always there when I turn around? And why does it feel like little needles piercing my heart at the mere thought of him with someone else?

My Review:
I have to say that this series is one of my favorite series of books about Rock stars. It wasn't hard to fall in love with this group of hardass guys with hearts of gold. Each rocker's story has been unique to their character and although my favorite member Drake has had his story told, I was just as excited to get his brother Shane's book. As expected this book was filled with sexy and delicious anticipation and surprisingly honest moments that will break your heart and make you fall in love all over again.

In every group of male rockstars there has to be a serial womanizer. Shane Stevenson is that guy. If you haven't had the pleasure of reading the series yet you probably don't know that both Shane and his brother Drake have past issues with their stepdad. Issues that have scarred both men in very different ways. While Drake chose to drink his memories away, Shane has chosen to use sex to mask his pain. For a long time in the series I didn't like Shane very much. I didn't understand why he was SUCH a man slut. It wasn't until a revelation about his past came out in Drake's book that really made me understand him somewhat. Of course getting to read his story was more enlightening. Under all the male bravado and illicit sex is a guy who just wants to forget what was done to him as a young boy. Shane was honestly a great guy, even when he was sleeping with different women every night. He never led anyone on and let his partners know he wasn't into relationships. He had a really big heart and loved the people around him and it showed in everything he did. What I loved seeing was that even though he projected an image of a no feeling rocker who just wants to have sex and play music, inside he was a mess. Because Shane is running so hard from his past there hasn't been a woman who has been able to catch him until he meets Harper.

I was really excited for Harper and Shane's story because their chemistry in the previous book was something you could feel just from their brief moments together beeing seen from another character's pov. Harper was a very special woman in that she is the shy, quiet woman you wouldn't even know was in the room. I wouldn't really say mousy because she's gorgeous even when she dresses down and wears her bulky glasses. She grew up with a step sister who became a supermodel and has caused her to have issues with her body and her looks in general. She always felt plane and ordinary especially when her own mother would pay more attention to her sister leaving Harper to bond more closely with her stepfather. While on shoots with her sister she became more interested in behind the scenes action and that fueled her love of photography. Harper's character was really easy to identify with. She was every woman with her insecurities and perceived flaws. Behind all her shyness was something extraordinarily special. Harper has never been intimate with a man, always choosing to read a book or take pictures. She's never really found anyone she has wanted to give that part of herself to. It isn't until her friendship with Shane starts to grow into something more that she starts to have the urge to give it up....to Shane.

I thought it was brilliant to pair up a damaged sex addict with a virginal woman with body issues. I loved watching them fumble through their developing relationship always trying to figure the other person out. Shane had no idea what he was getting into with Harper and almost let's her lack of experience stop him from being with someone who is really good for him. I could understand where he was coming from though  he believed himself to be a damaged person due to his past and didn't want to taint Harper with it. The steamy moments between them were absolutely worth the wait and very HOT! Shane was very patient with Harper and showed her things about herself as a sensual woman that made me love him even more. It was really sweet to watch them both help the other deal with their issues. Shane had a little more to overcome but watching Harper not give up on him was beautiful and made me love her so much more.

All my favorite rockers and their women were seen throughout this book and not to mention the cornerstone of the group, Emmie. I always love seeing her invade the books with her sassy attitude and special way of handling issues that arise. There were so many surprises in this book with it being the last band member getting his story. Needless to say I loved it tremendously. The characters are full of depth and heart, the love stories are always unique and romantic and not to mention the sex! Browning delivers what she does best with these hot rockers, sex, sex and more SEX! It's hard to say which rocker is the hottest because they each have different ways of handling the bedroom play. The Rocker That Loves Me was a really beautiful addition to the series that just keeps getting better with every book. I highly recommend series to anyone who loves sexy Rock Stars, Hot Sex and strong women!

Quotes:

Wet arms wrapped around my waist from behind as a damp, male body pressed against me. He was warm from the hot shower, hard with suppressed arousal. “You are so fucking beautiful, Harper.” For the first time I didn't question if it was true or not. When I was with Shane, I was beautiful. I turned in his strong arms, pressing my bare chest to his. With my arms around his neck I stood on tiptoe and softly brushed my lips against his. “Will you make love to me, Shane?” Beta/ARC 44%

“I’m with you because there is no one in the world like you. No other girl could ever hold my attention the way you do. You are so smart and so fun to be with. You are quiet and feisty all at the same time, which is completely adorable and incredibly hot. And your beauty, Harper, it goes soul deep.” Beta/ARC 85%
