Genre: Erotic Romance
Series: Sinners On Tour 3
Author: Olivia Cunning
Pages: 299
Format: Kindle

There are things in bassist Jace Seymour’s past that he is unwilling to share with anyone. To cover his guilt and anguish, he seeks dominatrix Mistress V (Aggie) to temporarily placate his inner turmoil. Aggie doesn’t have much use for men–besides the power rush she gets when they’re begging for mercy at her feet–but Jace isn’t like her usual clients. His cool defiance and unexpected dominance in the bedroom drives her to distraction and quickly steals her heart. When circumstances threaten Jace’s position in Sinners, Aggie must help him regain his rightful place in the band while showing him that time and love can heal all wounds. **Book #3 in reading order of events in book series, per author**

My Take:
I had every intention of boycotting this series after finding out that the publisher decided to release them out of order. I KNOW! Relax though, I couldn't stay away for long because this series is one of my favorite erotic romances. Hot Ticket was exactly what I thought it would be, Hot, Erotic, Intense and Fun!

I have to say Jace wasn't really a character I was all that excited to read about because he was so shy and almost faded into obscurity a little bit in the other books. What I was surprised about was the level of emotional depth involving Jace in this story. Hot Ticket dives deep into his past revealing the reason behind his BDSM fetish and his troubled childhood. Blaming himself for his father's death and shouldering the blame for the death of Brian's sister, Jace internalizes his turmoil to the point where he needs extreme pain to bury it deep into his psyche. This need is what ultimately leads him to one of the most bad ass dominatrix chicks in erotic romance, Aggie. When they meet at the strip club that caused all the band members problems in book 2, Jace sets up a meeting to have Aggie beat the pain out of him oddly enough. BDSM is one of those things I will never fully be able to wrap my head around. I have a pretty decent pain threshold but where I come from if you bring out the sticks and shit, them's fightin' signals. I hated seeing Jace need that to survive the guilt and pain he harbors deep down. He was such a sweet guy you would never suspect he was dealing with something so brutal. I was more than relieved when he met Aggie and she started to help him heal.

Aggie! I want to be her when I grow up, minus making guys lick up their own jizz. I mean I'm all for Women's lib and shit but that's where I draw the line. Being a professional Dom Aggie makes a decent living servicing the kinky needs of her clients. You would think with the black leather, spiked heeled boots and whips that Aggie's soft side would be non existent right? WRONG! Aggie was so kind hearted and amazing, especially when she recognized the torment Jace was going through. She was willing to do whatever it took to help him that I found myself wishing she was a real person. She wasn't without her own issues though, her mother has been a thorn in her side most of her life. This is where I can find similarities between Aggie and myself. The storyline involving her mother made me laugh out loud and cringe because it was so similar to my own issues with mommy dearest. Aggie's mother shows up on her doorstep claiming some mobsters are after her for a gambling debt and needing a place to lay low. Poor Aggie, I felt so bad for her having to live with her mother again. I'll be facing that reality again soon and that's another mark in the relatable column between Aggie and I. Her mom does add some much needed humor when Jace shows up at the door and she curses him out. I am still laughing about that particular scene in the book.

Needless to say this book was filled with Delicious hot sex! I was telling Autumn a few weeks ago, that nobody uses the word Cock like Olivia Cunning. Every word she uses to describe it makes me want one that much more. Flaccid, Hardening, Thickening, Rigid Cock oh my! I love it! Jace and Aggie have some seriously hot sex that left me breathless and exhausted, I'm sure you know why. You cannot NOT diddle while reading an OC book. The woman knows how to structure a sex scene. She includes details that make you feel like you are right there in the moment getting your ass pounded too! Take a certain bus bunk scene. It was so vividly played out I felt like my fat ass was crammed in that tiny space with my feet on the ceiling grinding against a hot man! YOWZA! Thankfully though the BDSM element of the story didn't get too freaky in the bedroom with Jace and Aggie. They did play with toys and tie each other up but the heavy beating and stuff was left in the dungeon. OH! How could I forget the hot threesome with ERIC?! Fuck me, that was hot! I think Olivia fried my already depraved brain! OK so the sex was hot, moving on.

Aggie and Jace were so perfectly matched together as a couple and I enjoyed watching him open up. Not only did he finally let go of the pain of his past but he learned to speak up in the band about what he wanted. The friendship between Jace and Eric was probably my favorite part of the story, YES even despite the hot sex! The Bromance between these two guys was hilarious, adorable and very nice to see after watching Eric relentlessly tease him in the first two books. I got a little misty eyed after the accident with the tour bus when Eric was pinned and Jace got him out. Hearing Eric so vulnerable and calling Jace "Little Man" almost had me in bookish hysterics! Who knew hardcore erotica could have such tender moments? As always the supporting characters were an even more wonderful treat to get to see them again and know what was going on in their lives. While it wasn't my favorite in the series, I really enjoyed this book and all of it's heartfelt moments, hilarious quirky characters and steamy, STEAMY romance!

Quotes:

~She needed to concentrate on her dancing and not daydream about making some tough-looking ubercutie her bitch. Loc. 73

"I ain't got it yet Maynard. Keep your dick in your pants." Loc. 914

. “I love you, Aggie,” he whispered. “What was that? I didn’t hear you.” “I love you.” “Again. Louder.” “I love you!” “Did you hear that guys? He loves me,” she called. “Oh, we heard that, and a whole lot more,” Trey said from somewhere near the dining table. “My balls hurt so bad,” Eric moaned. “You realize there isn’t any available pussy around for miles.” “I do realize that,” Jace murmured. He brushed Aggie’s hair from her cheeks and slid his slackening cock in and out of her a couple times. “Because this is mine.” Loc. 5026  -This was my favorite scene in the book!

  1. Maynard! Oh my gosh I love this review I don't even know where to start! The sex was incredibly hot and yeah the scenes with Eric were my favorite too! I love how sweet Jace & Aggie were with each other and was cracking up over you talking about your mom. Is she moving in with you? Because that's going to make for some crazy tweets coming up in the future. I'm so glad you decided to give this a try and I cannot wait to see what you think Wicked Beat. Great review, love!
