Book Synopsis
Cold, fine drops of rain
fall softly on my cheeks as I emerge from the darkness of the ship's
interior to the gray, overcast sky of the main deck. Pulling my dark pea
coat tighter to my body, the wind lifts red tendrils of my hair. I walk
slowly to the railing overlooking the water.
I catch my first sight of the Irish coastline; its craggy landscape makes me shiver in dread. I find it difficult to imagine now how the Gancanagh had made this their home for so long without anyone realizing it. The cold, moss-covered edifices practically scream their presence. As I study the shadows between the falling-down stone, I imagine creeping shapes of undead Faeries grasping the rock, waiting for our ship to draw nearer to their position.
Tipping my face up, I let the rain wash over me. It bathes away the frigid sweat of fear that has broken on my brow. "You don't know how fiercely beautiful you are, do you?" A quiet voice behind me asks, causing me to stiffen and fix my eyes on the rocks along the shoreline.

Let me just start by saying that I am Team Reed. And this is anyone that's on anyone Else's team.
Incendiary starts with Reed, Evie, and the team still on Zephyr's island. Brennus comes to Evie in his clone form making his intentions clear. If you loved Brennus before, I thing you'll get over it now. Russell continues his quest to get Evie back and Reed has to put him in his place. When the Gancanagh finally make it to the island for a fight things don't quite as smoothly as planned. Russell pulls a real numb nut maneuver and it leads to a new character named Anya. She's a kick-ass Throne angel with a death wish for Evie. So much for Russell remembering everything about his past lives. You won't believe who this Anya miss sexy bad-ass is.
As the story continues Evie and Russell continue develop their magical powers. But with the situation Russell has gotten them into they will need plenty of help to escape. Of course Reed comes but we also meet Tau, Evie's father. I have a hard time deciding if I love or hate him. I can say for sure I don't like his side kicks Xavier and Cole. And just wait til you find out who they were in Evie's life years ago. You'll be like.....
This little twist brings so many questions to mind. And then I decide damn them all. Reed and Evie better stay together or I'm gonna raise some hell. It's really frustrating that the Gancanagh continue to find ways around all the angels to get to Evie. Even her father a big and super powerful Angel fails to keep her safe. Now for those of you who love Brennus there is good news. Despite his evil nature and need to kill Reed and Russell, he continues to pull at your heart. Yes, I admit that I love Brennus too. He really comes through in the end for Evie. Which means he will still be a pain in the ass in book five. The last quarter of this book is very painful. Plenty of tears and heartache. But the author, bless her soul, gives us so much awesomeness in the last few chapters that I even got weepy just because the book ended.
