Did you fall in love with The English Brothers? Were you hot for the Winslows?

Katy Regnery's Blueberry Lane series continues with The Rousseau siblings!

For as long as Madeleine “Mad” Rousseau can remember, she’s been the “sweet” twin to her sister Jax’s “sassy.” But after an especially painful break-up, Mad decides she’s had enough of being sweet. Children’s librarian during the day, she begins visiting Philly’s seedier nightspots on a quest for adventure and experience. When Cortlandt “Cort” Ambler, the ex-boyfriend of Mad’s sister, Jax, saves her from disaster on one such evening, an unlikely friendship is born between the rebellious librarian and the moonlighting pianist…and two broken hearts begin a journey toward being whole again.

Globug's Review

Katy Regnery has quickly become one of my favorite authors. I can always depend on her for heart warming happy endings. Her Blueberry Lane series continues now with Marry Me Mad.

Madeleine Rousseaus  has finally had enough of her cheating boyfriend. He's a well known psychiatrist that for the past three years has been able to fast talk his way out of  looking guilty of cheating. Mad is tired of being played a fool. Chance or maybe fate lead her to a bar and right into a blast from her past.

Cort Ambler has spent most of his life longing for Madeleine Rousseaus. She's been his forbidden love since they were teenagers on Blueberry Lane. Forbidden, thanks to girl/sister code. You can't date one and then expect to ever date the other. Poor Cort has suffered because of the girl code curse and now has a chance and hope to be able break the curse and claim the girl he always wanted. That's if he can convince Mad to choose him over her twin sister.

I thought it was cool that Mad and Cort's story is on the same timeline as Jonquils For Jax. Cort has history with Jax that Mad is confused about. Cort is loyal and because of a promise he made to Jax he can't reveal truths that would overrule the girl code keeping Mad from giving him a chance. I loved Cort for his integrity but it made me want to hate on Jax a little. Mad and Cort are falling hard and it's painful to see her throwing it away.

I loved to see the sisters reconnect. Jax does what she can to fix Mad's heartbreak. I was thrilled with how Cort and Mad start their future together. I also have to mention that Cort's character is a musician. I very much enjoyed listening to the songs that he plays in the book. My favorite is the song The Luckiest by Ben Folds. I've included a link to it if you want to listen.

Proposing to Preston {Review by Globug}

Looking for the best Book-Boyfriends in the world? You can find them in any of the books by Katy Regnery. I loved Proposing to Preston ♥

Proposing to Preston is the second of four books about the Philadelphia-based, wildly-handsome Winslow brothers who are all on the look-out for love.

(Except Brooks… he’s probably sailing around the world with Skye by now. And Cameron, who’s having too much fun sparring with Margaret to consider love. And Christopher, who’s only on the look-out for a congressional seat and absolutely. nothing. else.)

Preston Winslow has a heart as open as the sky and room in his life for someone special. When he falls in love with Broadway actress, Elise Klassan, he holds nothing back.
Elise, who has made tremendous sacrifices to forward her career, is swept off her feet by handsome, charming Preston…but the stage has been her first love for so many years, she doesn’t know if there’s room for Preston in her life. When the day comes that she must choose between her ambition and her heart, she profoundly hurts the one man who could have made her happy.
Two years later, Elise has become a world-famous actress and Preston is a very successful lawyer. But fame has not equaled happiness for Elise, and Preston is much too bitter and cynical to ever consider falling in love again.
Is it possible that the only person who can mend Preston’s heart is the one who originally broke it? Only if Elise can figure out a way to make him believe in love all over again

Globug's Review

Seriously!! Regnery writes the best, most swoon-worthy men I've ever read. As I began reading Proposing to Preston I had the feeling I was watching an old school black and white romance movie. There was just something so sweet and innocent about how Preston and Elise meet and begin their romance. It was like Pres was courting her. His intentions remained very honorable especially when he realized just how inexperienced she was with relationships.

Elise comes across as a strong and ambitious woman that left her family and strict religious background to pursue her dream of acting on Broadway. She was never looking for love or anything that would get in the way of her success but when Preston entered the picture it didn't seem at first that he would disrupt her course but more like he would support her while also relieve her of the heavy feelings of loneliness she was beginning to feel.

They have a whirlwind of a relationship just as Elise's acting career takes off. Through many of the challenges Elise faces Preston is a constant source of unwavering love and support. He's caring and protective and very sensitive to Elise's fear of love. She's never experienced love and as an actress she has always seen the pain that love brings when it's portrayed in the plays she has performed in.

I spent the second half of the book in tears. You know from the synopsis that it's all going to fall apart for Elise and Preston. I hurt so badly for him. Preston knew Elise was scared and when she needed him the most to support her ambition he pushed her causing her to run and push him away. I couldn't believe they stayed in limbo, separated for two years. Thank God they stayed faithful to each other during their separation or it would have killed the whole book for me. I could never really justify how Elise handled things. I didn't feel like she ever really redeemed herself but It only made me love Preston even more for the way he gave one hundred percent of his heart to her.

The biggest lesson Elise learns though it all is that it wasn't her ambition that pushed her as much as it was fear that drove her away from her family and the love that Preston had for her. After two years they are both finally ready to let their love be the priority. Such a great read! Regnery is the Queen of writing swoon-worthy men.

About The Author:
KATY REGNERY, winner of the 2013 NECRWA First Kiss and 2013 Maine RWA Everything But the Kitchen Sink contests, has always loved telling a good story and credits her mother with making funny, heartwarming tales come alive throughout her childhood. A lifelong devotee of all romance writing from Edwardian to present-day, it was just a matter of time before Katy tried her hand at writing a love story of her own. As it turned out, one love story turned into a series of five Heart of Montana romances, following the love lives of the Yellowstone-based Lindstrom siblings. In addition to small-town contemporary romance, Katy is presently writing a paranormal romance that takes place in northern New England and the forests north of Quebec. Speaking of forests, Katy lives in the relative-wilds of northern Fairfield County, Connecticut where her writing room looks out at the woods and her husband, two young children and two dogs create just enough cheerful chaos to remind her that the very best love stories of all are the messy and unexpected ones.
