Globug's Review

Short and sweet with lots of heat. Blake with his English accent and teasing personality caught my attention in the first book and apparently he had caught the attention of Ella Simpson, his partners secretary. For years they antagonized each other. While Ella developed feelings for her boss Drew, Blake bide his time fantasizing about the day she would be his. I have to say it was more than a little far fetched to imagine Blake spent four years without sex but honestly I don't read romantic fiction looking for a true story. For an hour I got to swoon and indulge in the perfectness of Blake York. Sometimes a whirlwind romance is just what I need.

Globug's Review

I can't lie, this has been my favorite of the Lawson Brothers series so far. The story begins while Tristan is a marine at war and has recently started writing to girl named Lemon from his hometown that has been nothing but a huge nussance his whole life. The banter in their letters is priceless and leads emotions neither would ever had guessed could be shared between them. The biggest problem with their long distance relationship is that neither of them knows just how deep the other is falling in love and neither of them has the courage to put it in a letter.

When Tristan returns home with major plans for a future with Lemon her sister Apple turns into one huge road block. I was ready to claw her eyes out for the way she lies and manipulates Tristan and Lemon. They spend years feeling hurt and confused because of her deception. But one night of passion leads to potential for these two to untangle the mess around their hearts. I love the way Tristan begins to fight for the future he always wanted with Lemon.

Hearts not only heal and truth is revealed but the author makes it happen with perfection and gives you an epilogue that is simply epic. I feel like you could read this as a standalone but I promise you'd be missing out. These Lawson boys are pretty fantastic.
