Andi rushes home from college to Vegas after a serious car wreck leaves her mother severely injured. Unable to stay with her mother and stepfather in their small townhouse, she bunks down in a seedy hotel and meets Ryder Strong - stripper extraordinaire. Liking him - or anyone like him - wasn't in her plans. Will she let him in enough to change them? Ryder hasn’t had a single genuine thing in his life since he started stripping, teasing and pleasing for a room full of partying girls – even though what he really wants is a real job and a normal life. Could Andi change his fortune? Things heat up fast between them, until an ill-informed encounter with a penis pump leaves Ryder's sexy ass couch-ridden and jobless for more than a week. The only joystick Andi can use is the one on Ryder's video game controllers. Getting to know Ryder leads to falling in love – and Andi realizes she might actually like being in Vegas for the first time in her life. But her languishing grades back in Philly and her mother's rapidly improving health tell her it's time to go. When life takes the scariest turn imaginable, can these two turn it into a happy ending - for both of them?

Waiting On Wednesday: Drop Everything Now (Picturing Perfect #3) by Alessandra Thomas {Exclusive Excerpt + Giveaway}

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking The Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we are eagerly anticipating.

Andi Herrera is twelve weeks away from graduating college and starting her dream job—until her mom is in a serious car wreck. The traumatic car injury leaves Andi’s mom with severe retrograde amnesia, and Andi doesn't waste a minute dropping everything to fly from Philly to Vegas to be by her side. Since her mom and stepdad’s townhouse is too tiny for visitors, she needs a job and a place to stay—fast. She checks into a cheap hotel and meets Ryder Strong, one of the topless hosts at the hotel’s bar who takes dollars in the waistband from old ladies for tips, flexes his pecs for extra shifts, and happens to know a place that’s hiring — the casino floor at the same hotel where he works. Andi’s different from any girl Ryder’s met in Vegas, mainly because she’s focused on something besides drooling all over his abs. That’s because, in his second job, Ryder strips, teases, and pleases at a naughtier establishment. Things heat up fast between them, until an ill-informed encounter with a penis pump leaves Ryder’s sexy ass couch-ridden and jobless for at least a week. The only joystick Andi will be using is the one on Ryder’s video game controllers. Getting to know Ryder - and falling in love with him—has Andi finally wanting to stay in Vegas, even though her languishing grades back in Philly and Mom’s rapidly improving memory tell her it’s time to go. Both Andi and Ryder know what they have to do to keep true to themselves and to each other—they just don’t know if they have the strength to do it.

Subject To Change (Picturing Perfect #2) by Alessandra Thomas {Release Day Launch + Review + Giveaway}

Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance
Publication Date: June 25th 2013
Series: Picturing Perfect #2
Pages: 300
Format: ARC provided by author for review

Joey made her dad a deathbed promise that she would become a doctor, and dedicate herself to fighting the very cancer that took his life. There’s just one problem -three years into her pre-med classes, she's struggling to stay on top of the curve, let alone prove she's dazzling enough to earn a spot in an Ivy League medical school. In a Hail Mary move, she throws a basic Business 101 class into her semester schedule, banking on a perfect score to boost her GPA. That is, until she’s paired for a final project with Hawk, the bartending, motorbike-riding, gorgeously bedheaded loser who falls asleep in class and communicates in one-word sentences. Hawk does whatever he wants, whenever he wants, which sets Joey on edge – in every possible way. As they get to know each other, her urge to scream at him is curbed only by her fantasies of tearing his clothes off. Soon those fantasies become reality, and Joey realizes Hawk makes her feel more fully herself than any of the rich boys her mother and sorority sisters approve of. But the promise to her father hangs over her head, and the harder Joey tries to succeed in her chosen career, the faster everything falls into a hopeless tailspin of bad grades, broken promises and guilt. It doesn't help to have Hawk sitting like a devil on her shoulder, insisting she should be free to live however she wants to live - like he does. The only thing Joey knows is that her neatly organized life is crushing her - and Hawk's bad attitude might be the only thing that can save her.
