Did you fall in love with The English Brothers? Were you hot for the Winslows?
Katy Regnery's Blueberry Lane series continues with The Rousseau siblings!
For as long as Madeleine “Mad” Rousseau can remember, she’s been the “sweet” twin to her sister Jax’s “sassy.” But after an especially painful break-up, Mad decides she’s had enough of being sweet. Children’s librarian during the day, she begins visiting Philly’s seedier nightspots on a quest for adventure and experience. When Cortlandt “Cort” Ambler, the ex-boyfriend of Mad’s sister, Jax, saves her from disaster on one such evening, an unlikely friendship is born between the rebellious librarian and the moonlighting pianist…and two broken hearts begin a journey toward being whole again.

Globug's Review
Katy Regnery has quickly become one of my favorite authors. I can always depend on her for heart warming happy endings. Her Blueberry Lane series continues now with Marry Me Mad.
Madeleine Rousseaus has finally had enough of her cheating boyfriend. He's a well known psychiatrist that for the past three years has been able to fast talk his way out of looking guilty of cheating. Mad is tired of being played a fool. Chance or maybe fate lead her to a bar and right into a blast from her past.
Cort Ambler has spent most of his life longing for Madeleine Rousseaus. She's been his forbidden love since they were teenagers on Blueberry Lane. Forbidden, thanks to girl/sister code. You can't date one and then expect to ever date the other. Poor Cort has suffered because of the girl code curse and now has a chance and hope to be able break the curse and claim the girl he always wanted. That's if he can convince Mad to choose him over her twin sister.
I thought it was cool that Mad and Cort's story is on the same timeline as Jonquils For Jax. Cort has history with Jax that Mad is confused about. Cort is loyal and because of a promise he made to Jax he can't reveal truths that would overrule the girl code keeping Mad from giving him a chance. I loved Cort for his integrity but it made me want to hate on Jax a little. Mad and Cort are falling hard and it's painful to see her throwing it away.
I loved to see the sisters reconnect. Jax does what she can to fix Mad's heartbreak. I was thrilled with how Cort and Mad start their future together. I also have to mention that Cort's character is a musician. I very much enjoyed listening to the songs that he plays in the book. My favorite is the song The Luckiest by Ben Folds. I've included a link to it if you want to listen.
