I'm finding it hard to put into words just how beautiful this story was. I've never read anything that so perfectly put into words the most powerful emotions a husband could feel for his wife. The love between Nate and Lena is what all couples aspire to find. But true to the saying that you can't know the good without experiencing the bad, Nate and Lena's story includes soul shattering pain.
The more you love someone the harder it is the loose them. As a parent, you are willing to do anything for your child and instinctively will give all of yourself to ensure their happiness. Lena learned too early in life what it was like to lose loved ones and that knowledge gives her the strength to make the hard choices that would help her loved ones endure and move on after her death.
Though their story is filled with grief you are not left without a happy ending. After all, it is a love story and Lena fulfills her biggest dream. Her jar was never empty.
