Review of Point of Retreat by Colleen Hoover
I have been SLAMMED. I can't begin to tell you how amazing this book is. The poetry included in the story really is just icing on the cake.
The story continues from Will's perspective in this book. Layken's Mom has passed away and everyone has made adjustments to keep life moving forward. I LOVE the new characters added to the story. I would totally be best friends with Kiersten. All is well until the past comes back to visit Will. His ex-girlfriend Vaughn is in one of his classes in college and decides now that leaving him was her biggest mistakes. Of course I just hate her. She creates a huge bump in the road. Just as Will and Lake run over that 'bump' and are ready to start again, tragedy strikes. After overcoming all odds, their happy ending makes it so 'butterflying' worth the tears I cried reading this book. I loved it Colleen Hoover.
